We have now trained 39 neonatal MDT members in Trauma risk management (TRIM) with 5 more to train in the next couple of months. This is a model which equips staff to help their colleagues if a traumatic event happened. TRIM trained colleagues can work with their unit psychological professional to ensure that all staff and thought about and supported. The next steps of the TRIM programme are as follows:

May & June – Unit  psychological professionals will meet to discuss staff support in the round, including how TRIM practitioners can be used and supported

SEPT – Face to face study half-day to look at TRIM implementation
