We continue to run Trauma informed care (TIC) training days.

These days offer staff a one-day face to face training with our senior clinical psychologists, looking at how trauma affects our families and colleagues and how we recognise and respond to this. We offered it to nurses, support and admin staff, psychological professionals and allied health professionals in 2023 and 2024 and will continue this work in 2025 with events for medics, nurses including PNAs and a another day for admin and support staff. We are currently doing these events by discipline but would be open to units who are keen to have an MDT training day and could come to your unit to do this (we currently have no hub psychologist in NWL so sadly this offer is not available for those units).
