We run parents group every Wednesday at 14:00 in the family room

We have unit Psychologists available to all family’s on the unit –> neonatalpsychologyteam@stgeorges.nhs.uk

We are BFI accredited and having a wonderful infant feeding team that will be able to support you on your feeding journey

Unit Facilities

We have 2 family rooms ( ITU and SC) and a quiet room for families to sit.

We have access to tea, coffee, juice and snack that are provided by First Touch – our units charity

We have 3 bedrooms – that are used to support the transition from the neonatal unit to taking your baby home ( rooming in)

We have Ronald Mc Donald House that is open to all families to use with a day pass –> Tooting House – Ronald McDonald House Charities

We are a Level 3 Intensive Care Unit –> We are a referral center for Medical, Surgical and Neuro referrals

UNIT ACCESS AND VISITING

As partners in care – parents and siblings of baby are allowed on the unit 24 hours a day.

We have fingerprint access to the Unit that we can set up on admission

Friends and other family members are allowed to visit 9am – 21:00 – and can enter via the buzzer system
