SLT celebrated the dual qualification of Neonatal SLT and Lactation consultancy in their recent Pan London Neonatal SLT meeting with guest speakers Katie Cullinham (University Collage London Hospitals) and Annie Aloysius (Imperial Collage Health Care Trust) ) who are two Neonatal SLTs and board Certified Lactation Consultants.

They talked through their journey and learning points in their momentous  30 year journey as Neonatal SLTs. The session was well attended by London Neonatal unit SLT with many in the group currently  training  or recently completed the qualification in lactation consultantancy. This dual qualification marks the importance of the Neonatal SLTs integral role and expertise in supporting all areas of feeding practices with our Nicu population to improve feeding outcomes, parents as partners and baby friendly initiatives.
