Building on the work of the Health Education England Neonatal Speech and Language Therapy modules, London ODN SLT have been creating a new education offer for neonatal SLTs who are early on in their neonatal career.

As part of a quality improvement project, London ODN SLT alongside West Midlands ODN SLT and Kent, Surrey and Sussex ODN SLT will be delivering sessions to small groups of SLTs from across the country.

Staying on the theme of education, we have been busy creating education packages for the nursing ENNP and AQIS courses focusing on developmentally supportive feeding practice and complex feeding as well as MDT representation as part of the Developmental Care session. It has been great to meet neonatal nurses from across London to discuss current practice as well as sharing latest evidence based practice
