Work continues on the development of a comprehensive regional training pathway for both junior and senior neonatal nurses. The pathway aims to:

• Provide clear and structured routes for professional progression
• Ensure equity and flexibility across all Trusts in the region
• Align with both regional and national standards

The launch has been delayed due to resource considerations, with the aim to roll out the pathway by late 2026 or early 2027.
