Nirsevimab RSV prophylaxis has been rolled-out and has replaced palivizumab this winter season. Offered to more patients this year (all infants born < 32 weeks are now eligible) Main advantage of Nirsevimab is that it’s a one-off dose that covers infants for the whole RSV season. A Bluteq form (Hi-Cost Drugs Database Trust Edition – National) should be completed for each patient.
