We are very excited to present a stellar line up of local and international speakers, for the first London ODN summer conference.

Morning Speakers
We start with controversies in the NICU: management of the PDA and PN. These are issues managed differently across the network and the sessions will challenge us to think critically about current practice within our units.

We open discussion on the topics before a coffee break and we present our speakers from outside of the NICU

Following our keynote speaker will hear from Sandra Igwe, CEO of the Black Motherhood Group on Neonatal outcomes and ethnicity. To address the inequalities in neonatal outcomes we are all striving to eliminate.
Networking Lunch. Exhibitors Stands. Submitted Abstracts
During lunch there will be an opportunity to network, visit the exhibitors stands, and enjoy the posters selected from the submitted abstracts. These will be on the theme of teamwork and QI, and we are especially keen to showcase the work of all the units across the ODN, as well as projects led by the MDT.
Three of the best abstracts will be invited for oral presentations to begin our afternoon session.

Afternoon Speakers
In the afternoon session we will be joined by Lindsey Knake, Management of extreme preterm neonates: The Iowa experience to introduce their outcomes and protocols for management of extreme preterms, with plenty of time for questions, as their management is very different from the UK experience.
Further presentation from Alex Mancini who will talk on Neonatal Palliative Care in London and UK
After a refreshment break, the final presentation will be thought provoking discussions on both air pollution and the role it plays in preterm birth, by Dr Rachel Smith, research fellow in population child health at Imperial, as a conclusion to a stimulating and enjoyable day.
We hope to see representatives from every unit across the ODN as we have put together a programme which has something for everyone in London.
