It is well-known that health inequalities permeate neonatal care and negatively impact families’ maternity and neonatal experience and outcomes. We also know that there are barriers to accessing psychological and emotional support. In this session, we will discuss the MMBRACE report, its implications for everyday practice and how we can all work together to improve the equity of the support and care we provide our neonatal families and colleagues, moving beyond description and understanding to enabling change and action.

These sessions are open to all Neonatal staff and all those who support parents and babies.
