National Neonatal Palliative Care Programme
Building on the previously delivered ‘Introduction to Neonatal Palliative Care’ sessions, the National Neonatal Palliative Care Programme continues to collaborate with the London Neonatal ODN and CHaL in delivering a bespoke 4-hour virtual training session.
Please join us on Wednesday 4th February 2025, 10am-2pm, where we will be covering the following topics:
- London SIMS training with Dee Yissau
- Communicating with families with Ellie Atkins
- Antenatal counselling/Supporting twins through palliative care with Alison Griffin
- Specialist Palliative Care – The Evelina Team with Ella Aidoo
- Supporting families; Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity with Jo Dunckley
- The role of the midwife in the hospice with Jen Burnham, Noah’s Ark
- CHaL- supporting the hospice services across London
- Neonatal Palliative & Bereavement Care Specialist Nurse with Claire Dooley
- The role of the medical examiner with Dr Nigel Kinnea
- National perspective with Alex Mancini
This is a one-off session which is open to all, whether having previously attended a training session or not. As always, we will provide an attendance certificate to participants.
