Essential Survival Guide to Neonatal Intensive Care
An expansion of the well-known and loved UCLH Survival Guide to NICU course.
Aiming to be more inclusive for London junior doctors by making more spaces for this highly sought-after course.
Created for SHO and junior registrar level doctors working in paediatrics, who are starting to work in neonatal intensive care or wanting to gain confidence in essential neonatal skills.
Teaching from experienced neonatal consultants and registrars and support from specialist neonatal nurses.
Opportunity to practice using key neonatal equipment.
Maps well to Progress+ domains in the current Paediatric curriculum.
This is a full one-day course at the York Road Education Centre (address below) which is a 5 minute walk from St Thomas’ and the Evelina Children’s Hospital, London.
Lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided.

Course fees can be requested for reimbursement from your education teams as part of your study budget. Generally the HEE course code PAED0004 is helpful for these purposes but please take the advice from your respective teams.
