It has been a busy and fulfilling year for the psychological professionals. We have grown our workforce by recruiting to the unfilled Ockenden funded posts, and through some brilliant business case successes. We have continued listening to what is helpful for you and what families want and hope to continue to do this in 2026 – please do let us know what you would find helpful.

Highlights from 2025:

• NWP recruited a new psychological professional following successful trust business case

• Lewisham and Greenwich grew their psychology team with an additional post

• Royal London are growing their psychological professionals team too which is much needed

• St Helier and Kingston have now recruited and will have psychological provision for the first time

• We’ve now run 10 Trauma informed care training days which continue to be really well received. Please do book on to one in 2026 if you haven’t already attended.

• Submitted a research bid into NIHR to look at the experience of south Asian families. We await the outcome!

• Three great study days with the psychological professionals who are so committed to supporting our babies, families and teams
